Anwar Ibrahim's Asst, Nathaniel Tan, Was Arrested

ARRESTED!
Nathaniel Tan, 27, an Executive Secretary of the Foundation for the Future and a KeADILan Information Bureau staff who is involved in Keadilan's website as well. A Harvard University graduate too.

Nathaniel was arrested on Friday afternoon around 4.30pm at Yayasan Aman's office by 3 plainclothes policemen and was taken away and if not for the sole colleague who has seen it, it would be without anyone's knowledge.

Family members and friends were running all over Kuala Lumpur, going from the police headquarters at Bukit Aman and another and another and then Dang Wangi police station to find out where he was taken to.

What sort of arrest was this? Must the police deny that he was arrested initially and made the old aged parents worrying? No human conscience at all!

Bukit Aman only confirmed his arrest at 10pm, 6 hours after he was taken away. This is just like the reigns of the military in 1970s as shown in the Imagining Argentina movie where state oppression was a norm.
