Gerakan in a Limbo

Bukit Bendera Umno division chief Datuk Ahmad Ismail held a press conference to explain things further on his purported remarks on racial issues.

Somehow being put into a tight corner in the Q&A session, things got out of hand and the Umno members got so angry that they reacted. The photo of Penang state Barisan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon was torn off to show who's the real boss in Penang.

Ahmad Ismail has even told Gerakan (I would have presumed it was Gerakan as a whole) to leave the Barisan Nasional coalition and that was the last straw. Now, the Gerakan of Penang has severed ties with Umno of Penang ..... hehe. Only in Penang? Got such thing? Gerakan said that only Gerakan of Penang was affected?

Not surprised that Gerakan of Penang is in a limbo till they can't get over the fact that they have been wiped off the political scene in Penang. Penang of Gerakan's website has not been updated as of todate where it still shows that Koh Tsu Koon is the Penang Chief Minister and the rest of the team members are still being named as officials of various Penang state government bodies. Living in a state of denial?

For now, Umno heads are still holding back in their actions against this Ahmad Ismail. Can you imagine every fella starts to tear down the pictures of the Koh Tsu Koon all over Penang. It would be havoc!

Anyway, Ahmad Ismail said that his statement made last week was miscontrued by the press and that he should deserve some apologies. This fella can do all this things in public without getting any reprimand and to save the situation, the Deputy Prime Minister quickly apologised on his behalf. Respect, respect!

Interesting lah reading all this political news.
(please note that racial hatred comments will not be tolerated here)

If any more politician say that they are being misquoted by the press, I'm going to blow up! Yeah, blame it all on the press when you can't find the courage to admit you actually said those words! How convenient.
Why should Najib apologise on his behalf? The one who did wrong should apologise.
Politics in Malaysia is getting from bad to worse!
