New Government to Rule Today?

Malaysia has been beset with this talk of a new government being formed by the Pakatan Rakyat or People's Alliance ("PR") since the day of political tsunami that happened on 8 March 2008. The shocking election result on 8 March 2008 changed the face of politics in this land. I had expected a change of a certain magnitude but didn't expect a change of such.

Anwar Ibrahim who has been elected as the Opposition Leader in the Parliament has been touting the nation that he will form a new government by 16 Sept 2008 which is today. Can't smell of anything yet but could see lots of squabbles in the current ruling government's coalition party, Barisan Nasional ("BN").

In order for Anwar to form a new government, at least thirty Members of Parliament must jump ship into PR or at least confirm their exodus from BN. People who asked me will get this answer from me "I wish I am God!". We can only wait and see and do hope for peaceful transition if it does happen.

Anwar said that he will release the list of Members of Parliament that will denounce their support for BN today ................ there are so many people that have been frustrated with this so-called "enough numbers". It's causing the detriment on the nation's economy as the current government couldn't even concentrate on managing the country but each existing politicians were panicking over the intended takeover by Anwar's coalition parties.

But our current Prime Minister said it won't happen today. He has underground info on this already? And he told the public not to talk about it anymore but concentrate on things that will benefit. Looks like we are falling into dictatorship ruling ............. even what we say have to be approved by the nation's leaders????????

Out from nowhere, there are news that an astrologer from India on a visit to Malaysia mentioned that 16 Sept 2008 is not a good date for it to happen ........... hahaha. His predicted date for the formation of a new government - 10 Oct 2010. We have to witness all this political ding dongs till year 2010??????

His reason - "The planetary position at 7am on Sept 16 shows that Jupiter is in the house of Sagittarius and this favours those (already) in power". Wow!!!! What inter-galatic profound explanation!

The purported new government is to replace the current ruling government who is fumbling in many areas. Recent days, the Malaysian government has committed horrendous acts by detaining three individuals on last Friday under the Internal Security Act.

The reporter, Tan Hoon Cheng, was released the day after following police's clearance on her involvement in stirring racial hatred in her reporting. She was just reporting the truth as instructed by the Prime Minister few months back but the Prime Minister has duped her into it. How naughty of him.

What she experienced in the 18 hours ordeal has been highlighted in Sin Chew's website.

As for Teresa Kok, she is being investigated for her involvement in three issues namely,

While being investigated, she has been detained in a cell of her own. Teresa's mom said that food served to Teresa has caused diarrhoea. Conspiracy? The Ministry of Health is responsible for this? The concerned mom highlighted Teresa's ordeal in Teresa's blog.

No news on Raja Petra Kamarudin's release as of now. Another round of hunger strike by him?

When people ask the Minister of Home Affairs on why he did this to them, he responded by saying that he wasn't involved and blamed the police. Yesterday, his memory functioned better and said that the government's decision on the arrest of the three persons was due to the nation's interest. Now you tell me how to trust this kind of minister.

Malaysia, a land of Boleh!

The PM claims Anwar is a liar because he has not seen the defector list, claims that he does not believe in the crazy idea of using the ISA on the defectors yet when he was asked if he was informed earlier on the detention of the 3 unfortunate people, he said he 'didn't know' and that it is ok that they did not inform him .... what a full load of bullshit in one interview.. geee..our PM win hands down on saying the darndest things...

hahaha.. what kind of feng shui is that man.. jupiter and all. I feel that if Anwar really can't be the PM, then his credibility will certainly be affected and i hope the politicking wil stop cuz seriously, it's taking a toll on our economy. but 2010 is really too far ahead. and i felt that the Kinrara residents who filed the petition really played a part in this whole ISA mess. hope she'll stay strong and the same goes to RPK.
