First Chinese Prime Minister

Taking the cue from Obama Barack's victory in becoming the first african american to become the 44th President of the United States, my country's Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi gave this statement - "Anyone can be PM". What a pretentious statement! Yeah I have to say that because you don't say what you can't do.

Please settle those promises as mentioned by you that would be implemented / completed before your term ends in March 2009.

He just can't recall that certain parties have strongly objected (by having public demonstration) the appointment of a chinese lady in becoming the acting general manager of a Selangor state government agency, namely PKNS. What more the prime minister of the nation.

So, there are things that he should speak with sincerity and responsibility. Will this happen in Malaysia? It will but people involved in politics or voters have to mature a lot lot more.

John McCain concedes defeat gentlemanly by saying that they should work together to see their nation being strengthened. It's a different scenario in Malaysia as the Tourism Ministry set up different tourism boards in those states won by the oppositions so as not to deal with the oppositions at all. That's Malaysia. This is killing the tourism industry for sure. Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia are moving so strongly in the area of tourism but my country is thinking of ways of not working together as the other group is from the oppositions.

With the government signalling a revised (downwards from 5.4% earlier) GDP growth of only 3.5% for next year, it will be tougher for any business to maintain a good profit margin and such arrangements done by the Tourism Ministry certainly won't augur well for the industry. The Deputy Prime Minister was calling for good co-operation between political parties and I think he should direct that call to the Minister of Tourism first.

It's really hypocritical that when our soon to be ex-pm made this statement, come onlah ! when you see a Chinese lady temporarily appointed as head of PKNS also become the issue , our university cannot be opened to people of all races and we cannot have a open forum to discuss our religion and where our listed companies still hold some quotas for some race, you want us to believe anyone can be the PM, this is just like another "the boy who cried wolf" story. It's outrageous!

Until the day I died, I doubt I will see a PM from other race (or even religion) to lead this country

That Abdullah is spewing stupid comments out from his mouth knowing damm well that it will cause riots. ~_~

and MCA president had once said that Deputy PM should be a chinese and guess they didnt take that option.

and yea.. right about the PKNS thing, such disgrace to see them fighting over that position due to some racial thing.

He can say "anyone can be PM" becos he's stepping down. So he appears as a "good guy" la.

Countries worldwide are moving forward, but Malaysia is moving backwards. We are lowering the goal posts so that some quarters can catch up. Congrats, BN. Malaysia will be left behind in no time!

when amno invaded sabah, AAB can't even keep his promise in Sabah where there should be rotation amongst the CM every 3 years..but i guess the loser is the people/ state itself...AAB himself said that the majority race rules..in Sabah, Kadazan dusun was once the majority, now i guess the pilipinos rules cos they have tripled since amno ruled!! FYI...amno has a special privilege in Sabah...wanna know what/ why??? amno members in sabah consist of non- muslems e.g John Ambrose..of course they consume khinzir...what say you amno's??
