Men & Women

Men:
1. All men are extremely busy.
2. Although they are so busy, they still have time for women.
3. Although they have time for women, they don't really care for them.
4. Although they don't really care for them, they always have one around.
5. Although they always have one around them, they always try their luck with others.
6. Although they try their luck with others, they get really pissed off if the woman leaves them.
7. Although the woman leaves them they still don't learn from their mistakes and still try their luck with others.

Women:
1. The most important thing for a woman is financial security.
2. Although this is so important, they still go out and buy expensive clothes and stuff.
3. Although they always buy expensive clothes, they never have something to wear.
4. Although they never have something to wear, they always dress beautifully.
5. Although they always dress beautifully, their clothes are always just "an old rag".
6. Although their clothes are always "just an old rag", they still expect you to compliment them.
7. Although they expect you to compliment them, when you do, they don't believe you.

Sudanese Wedding

The following article described how a foreign reporter survived in Sudan and ended up in a love affair with a local Sudanese man:-

An eye opener to the Sudanese culture.

Artic Island Up For Grab

An Artic island - Hans Island is up for grab now. Both Denmark and Canada have started to claim for the Hans Island even though it's barren and unhabited.

Denmark, had in 1984, raised its flag on the island and Canada did a similar thing in 2005. Why the sudden rush for such a place? The reason: an international race for oil, fish, diamonds and shipping routes, accelerated by the impact of global warming on Earth's frozen north. Both of them not only placed their respective flags BUT also their military presence.

Countries like Russia, USA & Norway are also rushing into the North Pole for potential minerals like oil and gas. With big guns such as Russia and USA venturing into North Pole, looks like the environmental effect couldn't be cared less even it has reached the worst case scenario.

Easter

Easter Day is being remembered as the where Jesus Christ resurrected from death, 3 days after he was crucified. Today is a of celebration for that Jesus overcame death.

BUT somehow the hotels and restaurants had commercialised such important religious celebration into a day of Easter bunnies, chocolates and eggs.

It is where we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. His resurrection gave you and I a second chance, a do-over, a brand new life! Jesus knows every dirty, sinful thing that you and I have done. He took it all, bundled it and took it to the cross with Him. His death there paid the price for every crummy thing we have done and even for every good thing we didn’t do when we should have. He took all our guilt to the grave, far away from us so we don’t have to deal with it anymore. When Jesus rose from the grave, He led the way into a new reality. This is a new life, fresh and full of the promise of God. - Born again. (source: Christian Living)

Most Baggage Lost

Guess which airline lost the most baggage in year 2006. According to a European survey conducted, the following are the results:-

1) British Airways
2) Lufthansa AG
3) Air France-KLM
4) Alitalia SpA

From here, you can gauge their services and could plan how to avoid such mishaps. So far, I have not been a victim (for luggages) except for a box of foodstuff from Kuala Lumpur to Khartoum, Sudan. My travels have been on Emirates Airlines.

It was stated that the percentages could have been worse if Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd, bmi PLC, Ryanair Holdings PLC and easyJet PLC were part of the survey. Partly due to them not having luggage data or not being a member of Association of European Airlines. (source: International Herald Tribune)

Safe In Baghdad

Sen. John McCain from USA said that it was safe to walk in the streets of Baghdad just to prove what he had said earlier was correct. Off he went to Iraq.

He wanted to show his support to the current President on USA's involvement in Iraq's internal conflict. 'Bodek' in Malay language or just want to impress the President of his so-called loyalty. Politician's ploy.

Walked he did but not alone. Talk BIG only. He was wearing a Kevlar vest, the area that he was to 'walk' was sweeped clean by more than 100 battle-ready troops and armored Humvees. At the same time, 3 Blackhawk helicopters and 2 Apache attack helicopters were patrolling from above. Sharpshooters were posted on the surrounding rooftops. The cost of such protection deployment just to please a guy's statement made - US$40,000. Who was that guy???????
