Ferrari Pininfarina P4/5

ofStar of the Pininfarina stand, the Ferrari P4/5 is a unique car, tailor made by the Turin-based coachbuilder. Presented to the general public for the first time at the Paris Motor Show, it made its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'El├ęgance in California, in August 2006.

The result of the dream of American billionaire James Glickenhaus, the Ferrari P4/5 aims to be a tribute to the legendary P3/4 of 1967. He wanted a modern car inspired by the P4 (racing car) that could be used on American roads. To achieve his dream the businessman, former Hollywood director and producer (he was even an actor), signed a cheque for US$4 million dollars...

The P4/5 adopts the Enzo's 6-litre V12, delivering 660 hp at 7,800 rpm. Only the cooling system and exhausts have been modified. At 1,200 kilos, the car is lighter than the Enzo, which weighs 1,365 kilos. Its performance? 362 kph (225 mph) and 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds...
