Burger King Launched New Perfume

Which Burger King? I'm referring to the only Burger King that you are familiar with all this while, the one that serves you those Whopper burgers.

Yes, they have 'diversified' into the fashion industry but this time the smell of it is to be desired, not the taste.

The limited edition eau de Whopper new perfume launched by Burger King is called Flame and it's being retailed by Ricky's in New York City at a price of US$3.99 for the 5ml bottle.

Since it was a limited edition, those who had gotten it earlier is selling it in eBay at a price of US$19.99.

If your darling (be it guy or girl) or your spouse do enjoy eating at Burger King outlets and favour that burger smell, it's time you get this limited edition ....... at whatever cost.

It will change their mood during that 'special' intimate time ......... hehe

Burger King has produced a website just for this launch - Fire Meets Desire.

I really wonder kind of real value behind all this new perfume. What synergy will it give to Burger King?

Personally, I find their food price listing sooooooooooooo expensive.

Re-Designed Face Mask

During the bird flu scare period few years back, people throughout the world do wear face mask to protect them from catching the bird flu virus in the open air.

Seeing that summer period will be around the corner, bird flu virus may be in the news again. The fashion gurus are quite concious with such issues and thus, they came out with such designs for health concious people.

Totally protected round their face.

The eyes could still view where you are heading to and avoid banging yourself into free standing poles.

How considerate are the fashion gurus / designers.

Need Not Be a Hot Looking Model

We often seen the worldwide fashion houses getting top female models showcasing the latest products or apparels in order to capture a portion of the fashion market.

Louis Vutton ("LV") somehow made a bold and dramatic change as LV trusted an old man to bring the best out for their products.

Mikhail Gorbachev, the former president of USSR or Soviet Union, was selected as the model for LV's latest bag launch. LV is also trying to make its products appealing to the Russian men at large owing to the rise in the Russian economy. This advert came out at the right timing.

Dolce & Gabbana Gold

Dolce & Gabbana - famous for their clothings and apparels' with strong appeals from the sophisticated, yuppies and juniors.

Cashing in on their famous brand, D&G capitalised it by opening a luxury restaurant bearing the name Dolce & Gabbana Gold in Milan, the fashion capital of Italy.
At the entrance, the reception area would have captured your heart with its unique design which blended with D&G's business.
The restaurant section with its splendour wine collection for your choosing. It offers Italian cuisine with Mediterranean tradition. Service is impeccable.
You could also relax at its bistro section for light snacks.
Coffee room, a place where you can taste your favourite beverages.
The Lounge - your favourite drinks for the night are found here.
D&G's brand management has brought their brand into other industries for e.g. telecommunicaton as it has co-branded with Motorola to produce the RAZR D&G mobile phone.
Looks like the fashion industry are diversifying real fast especially into the luxury fashion hotel segment. Armani's boutique hotel will open at the world's tallest building, Burj Dubai. Versace & Bulgari brands have their own boutique hotels too.

Louis Vutton's Thong

Lately, Louis Vutton ("LV") has been producing products that we could get easily at a fraction of the LV's price. I just cannot recall where have I seen this similar thong design somewhere in the city of Kuala Lumpur being sold in stores selling cheap stuff.

Maybe LV had ran out of ideas for out of this world's design ..........

Louis Vutton's Handbag

Received the pictures via email and posted them earlier but the pictures didn't worked out too well. It seems that Louis Vutton ("LV") has produced its latest handbag design. Intending to grab one?
The funny part was the subsequent picture that came with it. During the mass exodus for the Chinese New Year festival in China, you could see people using a similar handbag design as LV's. Maybe this ladies were LV's factory workers, getting a handbag each as bonus. Alternatively, you can get one of this handbag design at Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown area....hehehe

LG Prada Phone

Now LG is not to be left behind as well when it comes to a fashion couture or luxury mobile phone. Various mobile phone brands have already collaborated with various high profiled brands as highlighted in my previous blogs on 23 Aug 2006 and 20 Oct 2006 to meet the needs of the high-flying people.

LG Electronics has launched their latest LG Prada phone and will be available in the market for around 600 euros.

Fashion House Mobile Phones

Mobile manufacturers and couture houses have muscled itself into the fashion turf with a line of phones. Samsung has gone fishing further upmarket lately.
It recently announced its AX Armani Exchange Ultra Edition 6.9 for the Singapore market (only 1,000 units available). The company has not announced plans to release this limited-edition mobile in other countries. It will retail for US$342.28 (US$145.06 with contract).

Samsung announced that the Limited Edition cK Calvin Klein Ultra Edition 12.9 handset, will be sold exclusively through mobile operator M1 in Singapore. Those planning to get their hands on this limited Samsung slider should know that there will be only 1,000 units available on offer on Singapore's shores. This edition of the Samsung handset will retail for US$469.53 (US$297.75 with contract). The Korean phone maker currently has no plans to release this phone anywhere else in the world.

Of course, Motorola's been there, done that with its RAZR V3i D&G Special Edition Gold and, ever the style leader, has moved on to a more indelible fashion statement--tattoing the RAZR (linked to the Miami Ink TV series).

Jimmy Choo

Jimmy Choo, was born in Malaysia and is now the famous shoe designer based in London. Jimmy Choo is best known for his exquisitely hand-made, incredibly expensive shoes and handbags. Tamara Mellon partnered with Jimmy Choo to start a ready to wear company and sourced factories in Italy to produce the shoes on a larger scale. Consequently, plans were made to open the first Jimmy Choo standalone boutique and to develop the wholesale business throughout the fashion capitals of the world. From there onwards, Jimmy Choo Ltd has emerged as a strong fashion industry player.

His royal/elite clients include former Queen Noor of Jordan, Queen Raina of Jordan, Queen Ann-Marie of Greece, the Queen of Denmark, the Sultanah of Pahang, Michelle Yeoh, Madonna, Natalie Imbruglia and Katie Holmes as well as the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

In June 2003, Jimmy Choo was awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) by the Queen of England, for his services in making London the design center of the world for the fashion industry. Fashion news have revealed that a Jimmy Choo boutique will be opened in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in due time.
Jimmy Choo's name is actually Jimmy Chow. The registrar spelled his name incorrectly on his birth certificate, resulting in the now well-known name of Jimmy Choo. He was born in Penang, Malaysia, and studied at Cordwainers' Technical College (now the London College of Fashion). Coming from a family of shoemakers, he created his first shoe at age eleven.

Jimmy Choo is no longer directly associated with the Jimmy Choo ready to wear design house which he founded in 1996 with Tamara Mellon. He now concentrates his efforts on Jimmy Choo Couture footwear.
