Gunung Mulu National Park
Important both for its high biodiversity and for its karst features, Gunung Mulu National Park, on the island of Borneo in the State of Sarawak, is the most studied tropical karst area in the world. The 52,864-ha park contains seventeen vegetation zones, exhibiting some 3,500 species of vascular plants. Its palm species are exceptionally rich, with 109 species in twenty genera noted. The park is dominated by Gunung Mulu, a 2,377 m-high sandstone pinnacle. At least 295 km of explored caves provide a spectacular sight and are home to millions of cave swiftlets and bats. The Sarawak Chamber, 600 m by 415 m and 80 m high, is the largest known cave chamber in the world.
United Nations Environment Programme has listed the national park as part of its environment programme.

Ferrari Pininfarina P4/5

ofStar of the Pininfarina stand, the Ferrari P4/5 is a unique car, tailor made by the Turin-based coachbuilder. Presented to the general public for the first time at the Paris Motor Show, it made its debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elégance in California, in August 2006.

The result of the dream of American billionaire James Glickenhaus, the Ferrari P4/5 aims to be a tribute to the legendary P3/4 of 1967. This American, an avid collector of old cars, owns several Ferraris, a 166, a 330 P3/4 and a 412 P (chassis 0846 and 0854). He wanted a modern car inspired by the P4 (racing car) that could be used on American roads. To achieve his dream the businessman, former Hollywood director and producer (he was even an actor), signed a cheque for US$4 million dollars...

The P4/5 adopts the Enzo's 6-litre V12, delivering 660 hp at 7,800 rpm. Only the cooling system and exhausts have been modified. At 1,200 kilos, the car is lighter than the Enzo, which weighs 1,365 kilos. Its performance? 362 kph (225 mph) and 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds...

Lawyers

Why lawyers should never ask a witness a question if they aren't prepared for the answer:
In a trial, a southern small town prosecuting attorney called his first witness to the stand - a grandmotherly, elderly woman.

He approached her and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know me?" She responded, "Why, yes I do know you, Mr. Williams. I've known you since you were a young boy, and frankly, you've been a big disappointment to me. You lie, you cheat on your wife, you manipulate people and talk about them behind their backs. You think you're a big shot when you haven't the brains to realize you never will amount to anything more than a two-bit paper pusher. Yes, I know you."

The lawyer was stunned. Not knowing what else to do, he pointed across the room and asked, "Mrs. Jones, do you know the defense attorney?" She replied, "Why yes, I do. I've known Mr. Bradley since he was a youngster too! He's lazy, bigoted, and he has a drinking problem. He can't build a normal relationship with anyone and his law practice is one of the worst in the entire state. Not to mention he cheated on his wife with three different women, one of whom was your wife. Yes, I know him."

The defense attorney almost died. The judge asked both counselors to approach the bench and in a very quiet voice said, "If either of you bastards asks her if she knows me, I'll throw your sorry asses in jail for contempt."
