Handphone Usage Etiquette

At times, you couldn't stand a fellow handphone (mobile/cellphone) user's inconsiderate action in responding to a phone call in a cinema hall, during a church service or raising their voice in a crowded bus (as if they could save the world by answering that call).

Well, a judge in Johannesburg of South Africa couldn't take it either. This guy who was seated in the public gallery of the Johannesburg High Court answered his phone call. He was ordered into the witness stand, questioned about his conduct, convicted of contempt of court on the spot and sentenced to a month in jail. So sad.

Good thing for him that the Supreme Court of Appeal overturned the case and he's free to go but I'm sure he'll be very careful when he takes his calls next time. (source: Reuters via Yahoo! News)
