Ban On Bullfightings

More than 40,000 bulls are barbarically slaughtered in rings in Spain each year but surprisingly, most Spaniards would like bullfights sent to the dustbin of history. A 2002 poll indicated that 69% of Spanish showed no interest in bullfighting. Tourists are unaware of the cruelty ways to keep bullfights alive. Many young Spaniards and Mexicans think of this crude sport as an embarrassing old occupation of their grandfathers’ impoverished times.
Apparently, there is a group of people that came together 5 years ago to call for a ban on bullfightings. As a result, “Running of the Nudes” evolved and will converge at Pamplona, Spain annually for the run to show the city that it doesn’t need to torture animals for tourism.
