Casino Dealer Training Course

With Singapore having approved two major tourism projects, Marina Bay Sands and Resorts World, that will materialise from year 2009 onwards, the country has prepared itself to supply the skilled workers to support such tourism industry.

The International Club Games Training Center in Singapore has a Casino Dealer Training Course that will issue either a Certificate in Casino Management / Certificate in Dealing Casino Games / Certificate in Table Games Supervision after a 6 months stint with them. The training centre is equipped/styled after a real casino and filled with dozens of baccarat, roulette and blackjack tables.

Graduates will learn the following skills in the course:-

* swiftly gathering the scattered casino chips from the green roulette table into her cupped palm in stacks of 20
* calculate pay-outs at the roulette wheel, where the winnings depend on the placement of a chip and require quick-thinking math skills
* schooled in theoretical situations such as how to spot a cheat
* how to remain calm with aggressive customers (source: The Star)

I hate going to casinos, it’s so competitive and if you lose you know who has taken your money and can even watch them walk away with it. Plus those high roller casino types you see throwing stupid amounts of money on the table makes everyone fold all the time, it makes things worse! So I’ve started playing online casino blackjack instead, blackjack is a friendlier game as you don’t compete directly against the other players. You’re all just trying to beat the dealer, you don’t hate each other and you can even have a friendly chat.

Well, you need to accept the nature of gambling...its either you win or lose...and its your responsibility when to stop playing...if it gets out of hand, it's not the casino's fault anymore...
