Happy Chinese New Year

Gong Xi Fa Cai To All Readers,
In China, it's widely known as the Spring Festival. For chinese, the Chinese New Year's Eve will be a gathering of all family members for a reunion dinner. The start of my quest for food back in Kuala Lumpur.

Oh, I thought Chinese new year was on the 18th? *shrugs* Shows how much I know!!! Happy Chinese new year Johnny!! Also, what exactly does "Gong Xi Fa Cai" mean? One of my friends is Chinese and I want to impress her with a Chinese greeting! ;P

CNY fell on 18 Feb. It's being celebrated for 15 days from 18 Feb onwards. During this 15 days you can wish any chinese with Gong Xi Fa Cai. The meaning is "wishing blessings upon you". Or u can say "Xin Nian Kuai Le" - happy new year in mandarin language
