Pokemon USA, Inc., a worldwide leader in trading card games, had just concluded the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG) World Championships that was held on 18-20 Aug 2006 at Hilton Anaheim, California, USA. World Champions (of different age categories) would have earned educational scholarship awards worth more than US$100,000 (at specific education institutions), invitations to the 2007 World Championships, travel awards and additional Pokemon prizes. The 2007 world series will be held on 10-12 August 2007 in Kona, Hawaii, USA.
Malaysian's own 13-year-old Adwin Lim, emerged sixth out of 128 contestants in his category of 11 to 14 age category.
