Reported in today's Khaleej Times that was delivered to my hotel room in the morning. I did hear about it from colleagues yesterday afternoon.
So happened a colleague went past that same highway yesterday and he was caught in a massive traffic jam for hours. He has only seen this kind of accidents in a movie but not real life.

How could this happen? It's really serious.
frankly speaking, the emiratis or whoever drives there are really speedsters on highways..... going way way beyond the speed limits.
and when fog hits them, def bang each other. not saying that they deserved it but then casualties wouldn't have been high if they slow down a bit
