Most of the buildings in Khartoum would be in this dull brown colour. The main reason would be due to sandstorm in Khartoum. No point having a good paint as the sandstorm will wreak damages on your paint. By having this brown colour paint, you can't see the dirt.
This was a Hummer that we have noticed on the city streets. In this trip itself, I have seen five Hummers already. The rich are really too rich.I have only seen one Hummer in Kuala Lumpur thus far.

Hey.. there's like a dozen hummers near where I live. But the explanation is odd - because the US government allows farmers to deduct any large diesel vehicles total cost from taxes...
So many ranchers and farmers take a loan out to buy them and thus pay nothing in taxes. America is funny, eh?

conviv - the govt just cant please everyone. in m'sia, they have just given out a subsidy to all car owners who owned cars of 2,000cc & below in view of the high petrol price.
imagine a bmw owner (who has a 2,000cc model) claiming the same subsidy with one who's driving a 1,500cc toyota car owner .... where's the logic
hmm....really lack of color...only brown I saw....
there are houses in white too but after few months, those white colour wld turn brown hahahaha
yeah its all brown and dull... i love colors it makes the view more beautiful..
i like hummers too! :D
obviously hummers is my dream car, otherwise it wouldn't have caught my attention and blogged about it
