Don't Worry, I Can Do It

A friend of mine who's based overseas in the construction field do enjoy his work even though far away from home sweet home.

When he asked the locals to do their work, their standard reply is always "Don't worry, I can do it" or "No problem, will do it accordingly". Similar kind of response at your workplace too?

One fine day, he went to the project site and he almost had an instant heart attack seeing the end result of a construction work.

How in the world that they can build a staircase that has no links from the ground floor up to the second floor just like what you see in the attached picture?

After some investigations, he found out that two teams did the work at the same. One team began from the upper floor and another team started from the bottom.

This is a pure case of lack of communication even though they were working on the same side of the building.

I almost can't believe my eyes watching the stairs. I believe not only lack of communication but also lack in planning that lead to this disaster.

How are you supposed to get up? that's cost wasting and also time consuming for not communicating with each others.

I think the lower stair case need to be wider in order to reach the second staircase

ted - who wouldn't?

huei - more than over confident .... hehe
