A 185-metre Observation Wheel, one of Dubailand's key tourist attractions, which will welcome its first visitors in early 2009 and will provide a panoramic view of Dubai. It will cost Dirham 250 million (US$70 million) to construct and will be the world's tallest wheel overtaking London Eye in London city itself.
It will have 30 orbiter capsules with a total capacity of 7.5 million guests per year. During the journey of 30 minutes on the wheel, the visitor will be able to view distances of up to 50 kilometres (if the sky is clear of course).
Dubailand itself will be a major tourist attraction for Dubai as it covers a space area of 3 billion square (280 square kilometre).
