Belgium is Up For Sale

If you are not a ruler of a country or even a politician that could rule a country indirectly, you could have a chance. An unhappy Belgium citizen posted his country for sale under eBay.be but it has been taken down now....hehe

Why does he want to sell his country? A third party could wreck his country for all he knows. Reason - there is no government in Belgium for more than 100 days now since the government was disbanded. The two political parties, Dutch-speaking Flemish and the French-speaking Walloons, are in not talking terms. They can't agree on a simple coalitian to rule the country that caused a standstill now. Good thing the economy is strong that it could still run smoothly. I bet Malaysia can too (pun intended).

eBay has taken the website down yesterday as there were buyers who had keyed in their amount, the last call at 10,000,000,000 Euro. There's one catch, you need to be responsible for Belgium's loan. So your investment is actually more than 10.0 billion Euro. Outstanding debt was standing at 220.0 billion Euro ..............

In future, if you don't like your country, sell it at the local eBay located in your country (if you have one, of course). Malaysia has one, http://www.ebay.com.my
